I seem to be going through a phase at the moment of not being able to lay down big hands even when I suspect I'm beat – ie I think I'm probably beat but manage to talk myself into calling. It would be good to have this topic covered in a vid or podcast. I am talking more about the sort of mindset you need to be able to recognise that you are behind and just go with your instinct, rather than specific hand examples, so it might be good for general discussion in a podcast.

Here is an example of what I mean. I managed to convince myself that V could be on a flush draw, but I think the fact I had AA definitely came into it on a subconscious level.

what other hands do you think villain does this with?

assign a likely range to villain and plug it into pokerstove and see what you get.
