I just came across a HitThePanda video scheduled on another training site. I am presuming he is no longer an exclusive instructor here anymore as he is also not listed on the coaching page.

If this does mean no more Panda videos, I feel this is very disapointing as no one more so than Ryan made a bigger impact on my game & my recent results.

His videos have always had the best content in them, every situation is fully explained & his thought process is on a totally different level to anyone else I have come across on training sites.

I know for a fact that if it had not been for him, I would not have recently won the $109r after sateliting in for $1 because I would of not had the knowledge & understanding of higher buy in concepts & thought process etc.

Would like to wish him all the best for the future & if there is anyway he could be kept on as a TPE instructor then it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Yeah, I definetely agree with QuadJokers. If Ryan is no longer a TPE instructor it is a MAJOR hit to the quality of the content. He is one of the best mtt coaches I've seen, and I've seen A LOT of different mtt vids on many different coaching sites. I believe that he's style is both very effective and entertaining to watch, also his deep understanding of a game and ability to explain his thinking process are the reasons why I consider him the person who influenced my game the most. When some coaches on this site are, with all due respect, mediocre players at best imo, Ryan is an outstanding player and letting him go was/would be(?) a mistake.

Yes, Ryan has decided to leave TPE.  His departure was amicable.  He got a good offer from another site and we are in process of shifting our business model to bring more variety to the site with new coaches rotating in frequently.  TPE could not shift to a more fluid model if we matched his offer.  Wein has also moved on.

We agree that Ryan and Jon were a fantastic coaches but given the choice between repeating the same content over and over again, or expanding to new ideas we feel like it's in the best interest of the site to grow further.  We still have rights to all 100 of their videos and have a few more Panda videos in stock.

We have no doubt that the new coaches that we have signed up are going to add more value than we are losing.  There are so many of them and they are all big winners and good educators (Mike Leah) for example.  This type of movement is pretty typical in the industry and necessary if we are going to provide relevant content.

On a related note, RFB and I have been friends with Ryan since long before TPE was launched and this change in “business relationship” obviously does not alter that.

He's a greate dude, and a sicko, so obviously I'll be pulling for him at every final table that I am not at  🙂
