Hey guys,
I’m looking to do some HH reviews, and it would be cool to “keep it in the family” so to speak and review HHs of some of your guys’ deep runs.
Ideally these would be deep runs made in tourneys with a buyin of anywhere from 5-200$. There have been runs by members in the 750K and Midnight Madness recently that come to mind.
Post in here if you have a full HH of a deep run, what tourney it is, and i’ll pick at least a couple and let you know where to send it.
Thanks!
EDIT to qualify what i mean by deep run. it obv depends on the size of the field, but in general i’m looking for tourneys where you made it to the final two tables, although in a tourney like the 750K i think whatever place our boy got last week would work.
just also include what place you finished and roughly how big the field was.

I’d be glad to donate a HH or even a couple to be reviewed. I have a ton of saved HH’s ranging from $5-$100’s all being final tables and a couple final 2 tables. Let me know if you’re interested in reveiwing any of them and I’ll send them over. Thanks.

i’m very interested. any of the final tables would be fine. shall i just send you a PM with where to send?

Hmm.. not sure if these are “deep enough” but I got 96th in the $265 KO SCOOP, 100th in the millions a few weeks before that..
those sound great. whichever one had a bigger field. if you want to proceed just post in the thread and i’ll PM you where to send the HH.
thanks!

that would be the millions, pm me with where to send the HH!
I am also interested in this. Would love to see some other members HH’s from deep runs. I have a VERY deep run in the FTP Daily Dollar if anyone wants it. 9503 players and I finished in 3rd place for $600 (not bad on a $1 investment). My best finish in a huge field tourney and something i’m kinda of proud of. To bad I did not win. I have a few others also from the Early Doubles and such if anyone is interested. Actually, I final tabled the Early Double B the night before the final table of the daily dollar 🙂
You guys can PM me to exchange hh’s. I’ll prob send in a few to to tpe.hh.reviews@gmail.com also 🙂
thanks!
just be sure to include your TPE name, the tourney and any other pertinent information in the body of the email.
i’ve finished the first two parts of what will be a three part series of 1derer’s 5r win.
thanks again for the HHs.
also, i just want to say that although we are going to be mixing this format into our rotation, it might take a while for us to get to them. and there’s always the chance that we never get to them, so please don’t be disappointed. we all appreciate the contribution regardless.

I Have been using TPE since mid summer and I feel like my profitability increase and the augmenting of my stakes would be a good example of how much this site can help. I got 4th in a 30$ rebuy tonight and would love to have my HH reviewed.I have dedicated myself and improved my game drastically since earlier this year and this site is the reason why.

I'd really like to formalize the process of making these member HH reviews.
So from now on, if you have a HH review that you'd like made, attach the full HH to an email and send it to: tpe.hh.reviews@gmail.com
In the email, give your TPE name, the tournament, field size and your finish, along with any other pertinent information. Also post in this thread that you've submitted a HH.
This way, when an instructor wants to make one of these, they can just go into the email acct and grab one.
Thanks again for the contributions.
I sent aHH from a $5.50+R [50K GTD] on Pokerstars with 3190 entrants where i finished 10th.
A little background on myself:
I started playing poker in
mid 2008 and never made a deposit. Won my first dollars playing
freerolls and almost imediatelly transitioned to cash games, going up
the ladder and building my roll from the very low limits. Nowadays i'm a
mid to highstakes cash game reg (i play mostly as “santiz” on FTP and
some euro sites) but felt that it was about time i started working on my
(until recently non-existing) MTT game and that's why i joined TPE.
It would be cool if you could make a leakfinder video highlighting the
mistakes cash game players without a strong MTT or SNG background make
in adjusting to different stack sizes and tournament
structures/situations.
Thanks!

Hagbard,
I just saw this post after I sent a Hand history to support, they said they would forward it on to the gmail account. After I sent it I realized it was the wrong HH, I did win that particular tourney, but after I replayed it, I could not believe how bad I was playing. The replayer is amazing and really helps you critique yourself. I have improved my game greatly, but using this I am finding some spots where I make major mistakes even when I am winning pots, my screename is weizened and it should be in your inbox, it is a 180 man Turbo on stars, raise sizing is an interesting thing in a turbo, and in the lower stakes people are so bad I struggle with how much to raise in certain spots.

finished 6/545 in a $26 tourney on tilt, couple of interesting spots imo.
will send it through

have a look at the study group – maybe you can replay part or all of your tourney and record your own video
Hagbard,
I have a $20fo Turbo wire-to-wire win on Party Poker (a site that hasn't really been covered in here). I recorded a vid with my thoughts, some of which are slightly skewed and definitely aggro… I was really attempting to work of my post flop play.
To take a peek, I have it posted on my blog ATM… …..m/daChimp/

yes, although admittadly we are quite backed up. hard to get them all in!
KB,
Here is an idea for a different type of hand history video. Bovada/Bodog now includes hole cards for all players for all hands. I think it would be interesting to get a review and the pro could talk about how the fish play because we can see all the hands they are limping, etc. I have learned as much from trying to understand how the average fish plays as by tyring to review my play.
I have a number of hand histories I could volunteer at all levels (mostly $60 and below) including a recent win in a 15k 300 player tourney. I know other members have shipped big bovada tournaments as well (including the sunday major). I coded a replayer that replays these hand histories. Details at …..anager.com if you are interested (replayer is free).
