I am looking around and I don't see it yet, and if not, was wondering if there was an interest…
One of the absolute main reasons I joined here, outside of community and videos, was to work on some advanced HEM stuff. I was wondering (again assuming it isn't done yet) if there was any interest in creating a specific thread and/or section on HEM/PT for ongoing work and help on the subject. What I am specifically after is advanced use of HEM for reporting and leak finding, but it doesn't have to be exclusive to advanced players.
I am a very advanced user of both HEM and PT, but I primarily use HEM as my main application, although I use both apps. I have PT hung off my HEM HH folder so I can go into either application to use it's different functionality between the two apps. I really want to dig deep down into the core of the application so I fully understand the statistical ranges inside so I can plug leaks. I would also love to understand what reporting functionality pros are using with the application and what specifically they are looking for. I am not talking about the basic stuff like vpip, pfr, cbet, etc…stuff you find in typical huds. What I am after is ALL the other categories you can get into, understand what ranges things like 3 bet, 4 bet, 5 bet, squeeze, Agg on different streets, against limpers, blind steals/defense, etc… kind of stuff. I understand majority of these categories and their functionality, but I don't know specific ranges or how to utilitze the most of it for tearing about my own game.
If I could get some help from the pros on this stuff in some kind of a thread or the like, I would be willing to help out with basic questions, setup, installation, HUD, and basic functionality to other subs on these products in exchange for building a more advanced thread on the subject. I have been working with tracking software since '04 and pride myself on what I can do with HUD. I was on PT for many years until about a year and a half ago or so, and switched over to HEM. I have done some pretty extensive work with both apps, and even did some side by side comparison analysis on the two products, so I might be able to contribute quite a bit if needed.
I was even thinking about the possibility of doing some type of advanced study group, chat group (via skype or chat on PTE), whatever on the subject for players that also want to dig this deep into the product with me, however, I don't think it could be done without a pros help. I say this because there just isn't a ton of available information out there when you start getting this deep with it (and trust me I have looked everywhere), and most people who do understand it that well don't seem to want to educate their competition on it, and hence how I eventually drifted to you all.
I could totally understand if someone has reservations or sensitive to making this type of information widely available on the site, so we could even do something more private on the subject if need be.
If I can't get anything like this going, is there one pro or another that is just a sick user of HEM and “all” of the functionality inside the app I could work with?

I think you can have the HEM conversations in the Software forum. That's what it's there for. If you want to start a study group, it's even a better idea. However, if you guys feel really strongly about it I can make a HME/PT3 forum to focus on those conversations. It's up to you guys. Awesome for you to step up to lead this.
I'm just going to throw this out there. It's very difficult to get pro guidance on this topic. Of all the MTT pros I know very few do ANYTHING within HEM aside from set up a simple HUD. Many don't use them, and the ones who do use very basic stats. HUDs are obviously very popular but I find that the better the player, the less likely they are rely on HUDs at all in tourneys. There are a lot of reasons for this that I think we've gone over before including sample size, and changing conditions of MTTs where even a large sample might not represent the current situation.
I do there there is some value in providing you guys with some more info on HUDs, and I do think that there is some value in doing analysis of your own stats within HEM reports so i've looked for an expert to do a video. Response has been beyond weak. You'd think someone would want to do a video but no one is stepping up – I've gone to 2+2, P5s and the HEM forums themselves. Nothing. I've asked several high stakes players and no one could recommend anyone.
I will continue to look but I just wanted to give you guys an update on this topic. If you know anyone that you think I should target, give me the name. I'll go after them and try to get them to do a guest vid. For now let's set it up so you guys can start doing your analysis and I will try to supplement with an expert if i can find one.

I don't know if you guys have seen HM's You Tube Channel:
It has various videos on HM2, I haven't watched them all so I can't say how informitive they are but I thought it might help the OP.
Most are only 30 secs. long but there are some around 12-15 minutes. Some are instructional and some offer a bit of strategy based on stats in your DB.
