First I would like to start with how much I really like the site. Kind of refreshing to be on something that isn't using the generic forum application that everyone is already using! It's clean, user friendly, love some of the eye candy, and overall seem pretty top notch (without getting into content yet).

My question is…what is the dashboard? When I go into it, it's completely empty and I am wondering if it is something I have to configure for my needs. Is there a post or explanation somewhere of how to set this up?

The only suggestion I have right now is making your emails for the forums show the contents of the reply for your subscribed threads directly in the email instead of just a link stating you have a response. Reason I point this out is for those of us with smart phones and still only on 3G and wanting to see responses without having to log on for each individaul message. Just a thought 🙂

Oh yea…your podcasts are killer!!! Would love to see something done even weekly with these down the road 🙂

Dashboard is where you can make some adjustments on your account, post member blogs, etc. I know it looks bland, but there are useful links. On the left side you can click on profile and edit info, just above that is member blog management.

RFB is looking into smart phone forum management options, so hopefully soon we will have something. RFB and KB are really good about making member suggestions reality. laugh

Yeah actually the dashboard is being redesigned to be a little easier to use. It's a place to get information about your membership and if you have a blog with us you can post from there. I don't think you'll spend a lot of time in there if you are not blogging though.

We will also have smartphone support in the future. There are a couple of other projects in the works first but I do expect it to be sometime after the wsop if not sooner. It requires a new forum system so it's not an simple addition. We didn't realize the forum would be so big – guess that's a nice problem to have!
