LOL WHY? The site really does not matter that much as its the events on the table that we should be concerned about. 🙂

Yeah, kind of confused by this. I am not sure if it would matter if they filmed playing at the kitchen table. The relevance of the vids are the situations and discussion, not the time and place. If you are concerned about appearing in there for some reason, I would use it as a learning opportunity also the pro's certainly do not harass, maline or berate players at the table (ok maybe Wein does to the really bad ones Laugh) but the purpose and content of vids are situational learning and awareness irrespective of where it is played.

I moved this thread from MTT strategy to suggestions box as it fits here better.   Lepoetwrites can you give us a little more on why you dont want to see vids from AP or UB?

The majority are Stars and Tilt with the exception of the bigdog micro series. If anything you'll see AP/UB tables mixed in with Stars/Tilt when the live sweat series are done.

But in the end poker is poker so even if you don't ethically support AP/UB it has no impact on training vids.

OK, sorry for being away for so long for my reply.

Yes, you all had the right responses that I wanted to this.

Yes, they are softer sites, but their intergerity has come into question so many times especially since (it seems) that keep on getting taken over by another shell of their own company.

& Yes, poker is poker, algrothems of diferent sites are different to one another as is live v online.

Obviously I want PS and FT as they are the sites I play on, and the insight into them is much more valuable to me.

Hope that answers the posts above

The potential lack of integrity of a site has no impact on the content of the video. If you don't trust a site just don't play there…it doesn't mean you can't gain valuable knowledge by watching a video of someone else playing there.

sorry but i doubt this will ever happen unless the site goes down.

you have every right to feel the way you do and to not play there, but there's no way we can make our instructors not make a potential video because of the site it was played on.

i personally dont have a problem with videos being made on UB, but i also wouldn't trust them with a single cent of my money, and i would never play there.

To play devils advocate, would someone who hates UB with a passion discontinue their subscription here because you guys are making videos on the site and therefore “supporting” them?

myself, as a sample size of one, would suggest not, but i wonder whether others will take your playing there as an endorsement and therefore not (re)subscribe here.

just throwing it out there

I for one take some comfort in the fact that BigDog has been crushing AP for years and it seems that(in the sweats) he is playing on the “up and up”, still crushing, and dont see anything “shady”. Maybe i'm not fully aware of whats gone on at UB, but I play there, make FTs weekly, and dont really ever feel that there is anything funny going on, anyway, just my 2cents.
