Hey Everyone,

 

We're upgrading our servers over the next few days.  There should be no interruption of service for you guys, however while the transfer is happening there might be some instances where a forum post or video comment gets pushed to the older server because the DNS hasn't propagated completely (internet lingo for how your browser knows to find our site just by typing in our URL).  

 

The impact should be minimal and the window should be short but if you notice anything weird happening in the forum – that's the reason.

Ok this just finished.  Sorry about the outage tonight but it took some time to get the site onto the new servers.  Hopefully you were all out and didn't notice.  smile

 

We should be done but there might be pockets of the internet where it serves up the old site.  That could last for up to 48 hours but i am nearly certain that it's fully propagated.
