If you participated in the past one you know what this is about, if you did not, here are the details:

On April 17th, in honor of our one year anniversary, we will hold the second official “TPE Takeover”.  What is the TPE Takeover you ask?  It will be a day dedicated to spreading the word on TPE and rewarding our members for doing so.  In the process, we hope to have as many sweat threads as possible!  Here is how it will work…

Beginning at NOON EST on Sunday the 17th, I will begin handing out stakes for various tournaments in the TPE Chat Room.  It will work somewhat like the gameshow “Lets Make A Deal”.  So I may ask for if someone has a Twitter account.  If you do, I'll ask that you tweet a link to our website.  Once a member does this, I will send them a stake to play in a tournament.  These could range from $5 buy ins, to the Double Deunce, to larger events.  The member that gets the stake keeps 50% of the amount they cash for and 50% goes back to TPE.  There will be many opportunites to score a stake and it could involve anything from tweeting, posting on facebook, linking to us in a blog, posting on a forum, etc.

I realize that some of our members playing higher stakes dont need a $5 stake, and thats cool.  You are still welcome to join us in the chat room for the simple fun of chatting, sharing hands, haging out and sweating other members.  Let's make this the busiest day in TPE chat we have ever had!!!

All you have to do to participate is show up in the chatroom on the 17th!
