Obviously the poker community is abuzz with talk about today’s news.

We are as interested as you to see how this all works out, but in the meantime it will be business as usual here at Tournament Poker Edge. From what we can see, sites like FTP and UB haven't pulled out of the market yet and may still offer games. We will continue to release videos daily and be active in the forums and chat.

We appreciate you guys being part of the TPE community and look forward to continueing to bring you the best poker training possible!

Hey KB,

any idea how this will affect non US / canada players? i'm from Asia. How this will affect small poker rooms like Cake?

Sidenote : i've tried withdrawing $$ from Victory Poker ( part of cake network) for 3 weeks now and my cash is still under pending. 🙁

FT just released press release, they will be pulling out of the U.S. market as well, they also suspended withdrawls.

Sounds like if you are outside of the US you are ok…although I would expect some deposit and withdrawl delays while the sites figure this all out.

Hi guys,

First of all, sorry for you guys having your livelihoods taken away from you just like that. Just insane how the US works/doesn't work.

However, now that it's clear the three big ones are closed to US players, I assume this will also impact the members of this site. Thus, will you still be able to produce videos at the same rate without the bigger sites?

Thanks,
V

I've posted this in other threads about the topic but our intention is to carry on as usual since we do have some pros outside of the US + we are starting to roll out guests that will help fill the gap.

For the immediate future we have a deep backlog of videos that will give us time to figure out how to fill the gaps.

the other friday i logged onto TPE and i saw that one of the thread titles was “regarding today's developments”

i thought wow, that doesn't sound good, sh*t must me hitting the fan somehow.

turns out i was right. 🙁

anyways, for us TPE members outside the US, i think its important that we try and keep this site and forums going as much as possible – try as hard as you can to post strategy questions and sweat threads and member videos (which i will get around to launching formally soon)

(assuming there will be a blackout for the us for a while) i think we have a responsibility to our american TPE friends to hold the site in good stead and keep it going for when they come back into the online poker world.
