First of all….

Oh Emm Gee surprised

And second, sorry to the US players once again.

But I am so stoked about the beta release that finally happened today I actually fell out of my chair when I read the news at work. They only have cash games put up at the moment, 5c/10c at the highest last I checked. I assume they will come out with tournaments soon, there is some discussion on the topic on the major forums and the stars blog.

Just wondering what you big wigs at TPE have planned for this new development. Anyone have extensive experiance with Rush and want to give their point of view on strategy? Maybe start a new forum?

I played Rush a lot, both cash and tourney. Always wait for your hand to make a decision. I stole a lot of blinds from mid to late position because people would click auto-fold before it was their turn just to get to the next table.  Not sure if Zoom will have the same setup as Rush, but just something to think about.

played a bit before, feels really nice and smooth, especially when coupled with tableninja.

lol, I don't think you would have much to worry about as far as BRM. I am not much of a cash game player, but these games seem pretty fishy thus far.

With stakes that low you can probably stick to TAG poker and be fine. I used to play tons of 1/2 and eventually 2/4 Rush NL on FTP and the games were extremely aggro in LP so you always had to prepare to 3bet and 4bet over 3bets if you opened from CO or Button.

I think when PokerStars increases the stakes for this you'll see the same thing happening, but no one is this aggro at micro stakes.

I was able to play the US free version of Zoom it was identical to Rush poker. I really enjoyed playing the tourneys. It is a little different style and strategy of playing “Zoom” for you don't get good reads to the table. I typically did use notes on players so when i see them again, you have reads on them.

Since I am a US player, I won't have the opportunity to play it but will HUDs work?

wow been on this all week rather then the tournies and the swings are ridiculous been playin on the .50/1 (top stake atm) seems to be a lot of reg's already surrounded by numerous fishies. At one point was up about 900 back down now to +400. Think ive tried to up the aggro more in the last couple of days and its back fired. Going to stay away for the weekend and come back to it with my head straight on TAG

If you look at the avg % that see the flop it is very low even in the .01/.02 6max games. People are being nitty and shoving their nuts in your face. A lot of coolers in my experience so far.

There isn't a ton of steal vs resteals but it does happen and you have to be prepared for it. Make sure you have steal % in your HUD stats.

Download the 60 trial of PT3 to have a working HUD, I know HM1 doesn't have a working HUD, they say HM2 works but I don't have 2 so I'm not sure.

Zoom cash is good if you are looking for rakeback/vip benefits.

I hope they introduce zoom tourneys real soon.
