yeah i'm completely confused as to what to do on UB/AP.  I registered for something earlier and then unregged.  They are being very vague about what's going to happen moving forward.  I do expect that we'll get our money but i'm not sure what they are going to do with winnings from the last few weeks.  Can they say that winnings are null?  I have no idea.

from what ive read elsewhere UB is limiting cashouts to $250 per week for players overseas. This is very concerning to me. The fact that they are letting US players still play where Tilt and Stars are not leads me to believe that they are really struggling for liquid cash. I venture to say that they as of now intend to pay out to US players but realize that they still need the rake and dont mind taking advantage of US players who will go spew there roll or those who just continue to play.

You jsut dont know with UB given there past. They could fold tomorrow and we as players have no legal recourse. Stars and Tilt have a brand they are going to defend internationally so Im not worried at all about them. They have more international base where UB was much more US based.

IMO letting players play while explicitly making cashouts unavailable is the slimiest thing they have done short of having super users.  It is obviously just being done because allowing play results in lowering collective balances by the minute and thus what they ultimately have to pay out (if they ever do).

The $250 limitation further emphasizes the idea that they just don't have the money.

It is beyond reason to me to think that there are players in Europe and elsewhere, who have the option to play on legitimate sites, are making deposits while being told of this limitation.  And some of them are chasing a BBJ that will take 30+ years to pay at that rate.

Is US players' money better off being chip-dumped to someone outside the US?  Is it safer within the accounts of non-US players, regardless of whether or not it can actually be withdrawn?  Recent activity seems to suggest that it might be…

Definitely.  In fact I would say non-U.S. balances are worth twice as much as U.S. balances:

U.S. player balances are worth $.005/$1.00.

Non-U.S. player balances are worth $0.01/$1.00.

Act fast though as I think this difference will converge very quickly.

I'd sell mine for 40 or 50 cents on the dollar right now.

Well now I cannot even play on AP. Guess it is only the other sites now. sigh. Being stuck in the middle of Georgia with no internet (or not many) options sucks. Guess it is back to the underground around here. Just have to be so carefull with all the hi jacks that happen. Gonna try to get to Bilouxi soon or Fla.
