It may be the ‘dog days’ of summer, but players at Americas Cardroom had a great reason to stay indoors yesterday with our tremendous Sunday lineup.

We saw our Holdem Sunday Special bounce back after a slightly slower week and our $100,000 GTD Sunday Warmup kicked butt per usual. We also beat the 7-package guarantee in our Punta Cana Poker Classic satellites, with eight players headed to poker paradise this October in the Dominican Republic.

After a small overlay last week, our Holdem Sunday Special came back with a vengeance yesterday. There were 792 total entrants with the $158,400 final prize pool going way above the $125,000 guarantee.
