Hey guys,

I'm a UK based player and so playing on stars but obv see alot of the US players posting results/sweat threads etc.,…. on Lock. If you were a non US player would you still be playing Lock or if you had the choice of stars would you just stick to that?

Just wondering if it would be worth splitting my roll between the 2 or just concentrating on stars.

Thanks

BM

The games are so soft that I think it is def worth playing on Lock.  Just try and keep a reasonable amount of money on the site and cash out enough to feel comfortable.  Ive cashed out, and althrough it took a little while it did come through and I had no problems.

I agree with KB games are soft. Obvious this is ideal for us from USA and I think a good option for non-USA players. I don't think there are a lot of non-USA players because PS and other sites based in Europe still have a bigger spread of tournaments. However, I would still would2 consider this as an option to add a few more games a day.  They do have a lot of bounty tournaments if you like that format.

To be honest, even tho it has less players/tourneys I prefer LP over PS.

Games are so much softer there. Plus having to play huge fields all the time gets old.

Just my 2cent.

Good luck!

if you can put up with the horrible support, 888 is quite a good site in terms of smaller MTTs as well. fields range from 80-500 depending on stakes and times, that is for Australian night times so in the UK it might be double that, but still a lot lower than stars etc

rootsprincess is definitely right about playing in huge fields getting old. it certainly helps playing small fields, making a few final tables a week. i prefer to play across both of those sites, playing a few stars tourneys for the big score and the softer and smaller 888 to even out variance. if i could get money onto lock as an australian i would have money on there too

i am a US player and absolutely was a big PokerStars fan until BF. I am now a Lock Player and love it. I have been with Lock since the day after black friday. It was really really soft even for me ha ha. As KB and BigDog and TPE nation took merge over, it is tougher now. If it were me and I had to choose, where to deposit? I would put half on Lock and half on Pokerstars. I do like Zoom. I still play some play games on PS and learning the mixed games.

I'm UK based and have switched from Stars to Lock for most of my play. Been on Lock for 3 weeks and had considerable and consistant success, mainly due to the smaller fields. No longer min cashing after hours of graft either winning big or busting, find it much better from that respect. First cash out from Lock to Netteller account was speedy, second one taking a few days but I have been assured I will get it. Toughest bit is the best tourneys are over night UK time starting from 7pm through 2pm for Super Stack High Roller (finishes about 7am!)

Play is soft, enough dead wood despite TPE regs.

What's the difference between signing up with this link vs the rakeback link from TPE?
