I thought Lock Poker was a site to play at, but when I downloaded today and tried to set up an account, I got a message saying “No US players”. I'm a bit confused seeing that they're prolly the only online site advertising in Bluff Mag this month…lol. surprisedconfused

Unfortunately, if you are a US player, I think online poker is pretty dead until the feds pass some type of legislation. cryyellfrown

Yeah! Even though we still get to play, these sites are really the pits and there's nothing we can do about it. On another note, I just got an email from some rep saying a bill was just introduced to legalize online poker.

Hopefully that bill will be turned into law, but it will probably take a while before that happens.  And even then, I believe each state will have the opportunity to allow online poker or disallow it.

Lock is a skin on the Merge network, US players who already have an account can play, they accepted US players after Black Friday, but Merge was growing so fast, that they temporarily stopped accepting US players. I believe they said on July 1st they will open up to US players once again.

Maybe Bigdog will know since he's sponsored now, but do they have a timetable for allowing US players?  I got a notice from them saying they were considering it soon but no firm date.
