Hello TPE!
I play on Carbon Poker for few months, and for about 36hours I can´t loggin to the site, the client doesn´t open, does anyone have any information on this matter?

Has anyone heard of a new site that’s up and running for US players called globalpoker ? If so ? Any thoughts ?

Yes, I have played a tournament or two. It’s kind of early to tell if it’s legit or not. It does seem to work with sweepstake law but still the jury is still out.

ive seen some ads for it but have not checked it out. Post a review here if you put in any significant volume.

I’d be interested too. I played a couple of tourneys there with the free 2.00 that I got. The last game I was in, it froze on me on the table and the entire table in the chat said they were all frozen but the other tables were playing as normal. I sent an email to support and they refunded me the money for the 2.00 and gave me extra 3.00 for the troubles.
The jury is not out yet on the validity of the site. I have seen a fair share of sites like this go insolvent and eventually crash and burn. The only thing they use is PayPal transactions which screams shady to me. Its a sweepstake offering but I don’t see it that way. You pay 5.00 for 5.00 of sweeps cash which means, it pays one to one and I can’t figure out how to “earn” sweeps to play in a sweepstakes model. Just seems it’s by name only.
I am not sold as of yet. Seems that we have a variation of games around all the sites that have been around for quite awhile and am happy with. I am curious of how you review it though.

Hi, I apologize for the late response. Regarding ACR, we do accept credit, debit and prepaid cards. Just make sure that the card is allowed for international purchases.
