For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to do a fresh install of Windows 8 on my laptop. It was not as simple as I thought it would be. It was a huge pain in the ass and I regretted my decision. However it caused me to discover this weird hack glitch thing, which makes it all worth while.

So typically on Bovada you don't need to open a ton of screens since you're limited to 4 cash and/or zone and/or SNGs at once. You can open as many MTTs as you like, but you'd be pretty hard pressed to open an insane amount like 20+ tables at once like you can at Stars. They just don't enough running. However the max you can tile and still see all at once is 6 tables, which does get annoying at times, especially on federal holidays where they like to add tournaments.

So this is how you can go from 6 to 12. Keep in mind I don't know how or why this works, if it works for Windows 7 or anything else, or if it only works on my specific Toshiba laptop running a clean install of Windows 8.1. If it doesn't work the only thing I could say is go through the steps again.

  1. Open up the Control Panel (right-click the Windows icon in the lower left of the desktop and choose “Control Panel”), in the Control Panel search box type in 'DPI', then choose “Make text and other items larger or smaller”
  2. Make sure the “Let me choose on scaling level for all my displays” box is checked, then choose “Smaller -100% (default)”, click Apply, then click “Sign Out Now”.
  3. Log back in, get to the “Make text and other items larger or smaller” again. This time choose “Medium -125%”, then uncheck the box for “Let me choose on scaling level for all my displays” which brings up the slider. Move the slider over one to the middle, hit Apply, then “Sign Out Now”
  4. Log back in and open up your Bovavda client and sign in. The text should look all fuzzy and weird. If the “Settings” is in 2 lines you're on the right track. Get back to the “Make text and other items larger or smaller” area. Slide the bar over to the left (smaller), hit Apply. If it asks you choose “Sign Out Later”, but it shouldn't.
That's it. You can now add 12 tables and see all of them. I haven't field tested this yet. I can tell the task bar is going to get in the way of the bottom row of tables.
