What are people’s thoughts on the quality of players on ACR vs. Ignition.  I have read some articles that suggest Ignition is much softer (I’m specifically interest in MTT and single tables).  But some of the articles may be old and unreliable.

On the other hand, ACR has much better MTTs and the software is much better looking.  Any insights appreciated.

If you play low enough stakes, there are easy tables everywhere. If you play somewhat higher online stakes (3-figure plus tournaments), I think Ignition is easier, but it’s all anecdotal, and with anonymous players, it’s hard to know for sure. On ACR, sometimes I’ll play a $215 tournament and 6 of the other 8 players are all very good winning online players based on SharkScope. That’s not always the case, but it’s also a lot easier to know when you are at a hard/easy table.

The other angle with Ignition is that people like me play on it through an online sportsbook like Bovada. So you will have more players on those sites are sports bettors who have money to burn. That’s probably the biggest reason I perceive it to be easier.

ACR’s software is much better looking, but it also crashes a lot more often. I’ve only had Bovada/Ignition crash once on me. Being able to look at stack sizes in terms of big blinds is amazing, and I will always do that on ACR now (especially with some of their weird blind levels).

If I’m just playing casually, I prefer Ignition, since I think it’s slightly softer, and sometimes the anonymity is nice. Plus, I can play tournaments on my phone. If I’m grinding 6-10 tables, ACR is my focus.

I think in general play is softer on Ignition, but I am just not a big fan of the anonymous player thing.  Schedule also better on ACR, well at least compared to  the last time I played on Iggy.
