Hey guys!
Some people might know me as Jussi from the TPE Skype group since I hang there a lot, but I haven't posted a ton here so I think I'm unknown for the most of the members here. In a nutshell: I'm 19 years old Finnish guy and just finished my studies so I'm free for grinding! Yay! I'm fairly new to MTTs and started grinding those more like two months ago. Before this I played PLO cash up to 0.5/1e but my tilt issues were too much and I had to move away from cash games.
I'm going to grind as much as I can this summer and felt like updating results somewhere might be a good idea. For these 1,5 months that I've been here on TPE has been really really good for my game and I watch training videos nearly everyday. Can't thank enough that guy who recommended this site to me on 2+2. 
I still suck OBV but I'm getting there!!!
Don't really know what else to say. This is going to be more like a weekly diary for me but all conversation is obviously allowed!

Okay, grad party behind, can start grinding now. Just finished my first session and playing felt really good after a few days break. A little frustrated now since made one bad play in FT but it happens and didn't cost me hugely moneywise. Also took a shot in 55d Big and was really awesome to play with good regs. Was like 200th so got horseshit in return but all in all it gave me a nice little motivation boost as the playing felt so good. Can't wait to get that in my daily schedule.
Starting work on Tuesday so the summer grindz won't be as awesome as I thought. It's only for June though and after that I'll be free for fulltime grinding. Might be shotting this month a little cause of the working aside, like Sunday Kickoff and the bigger challenges on 888 but overall will keep going with 400 avg buy in brm. Also I'll probably start playing sats to Sunday majors those days when I can't put in a decent volume session.
This is what my MTT schedule for the week looks like. I go to gym on Mon, Wed and Fri so those days I won't be playing.

First week behind so time to update.

Ok so basically I hitted a nice heater immediately. It was hoped for tho since before June I was in a 1k BE streak. First 4 figs on Thursday chop 8,8d cubed (2,35k), 265d KO missclick and then a few shots on Sunday. So a loot of stuff happened last week even though I’m not satisfied with the volume I managed to put in. Also I didn’t study enough and that is unacceptable. From now on I must go through hands more and watch way more training videos. Probably leaving the small field 11d freezeouts now like 0,9k on 888, but I still think I will keep about 500 avg buy in BRM. Nit brm ftw!
One other thing. Have noticed that it is not that wise to hang around in the Skype group while playing altho some railing is always nice. Not sure if I can keep away from there while playing but need to consider that.

Hello hello!
Another week behind. Just really poor volume again, hate myself but work is so tiring really and there’s football and and.. yeah excuses after another. Next week I’m going to keep four days off completely just studying and not playing at all, I feel like I have to take a look at my game because running this heater has affected my game and I don’t play very well anymore. Also hate the fact that everytime I swap or sell pieces from Sunday majors I never cash anything. Just feels so much worse when it’s not just your money on the line, not sure if anyone understands this… So probably won’t be doing that anywhere near in the future. Happy to buy pieces from others tho!
Okay so yeah, next Friday is a national holiday here so I’m going to study until that and then grind for the whole weekend. Hoping to get my game back on track, I should have made so much more this week running like this.

Hey guys, been a while with no updates. Have been playing fulltime for a week now, pretty sick heater start which is obviously nice. Think I have overall played okay with exception of two terrible days when my mindset was just bad and I shouldn’t have played in the first place. And actually started to write this because just busted one tour from cl to bottom in 3 mins with bad plays one after another and just felt like needing a place to gather my thoughts a little bit.
Been testing some new stuff in my game last week and pretty happy with the results. Obviously when they don’t work I look like an idiot but you know that’s part of the learning. BR is pretty solid now and not really gonna move up stakes yet so just testing stuff and trying to sat more into the 109s to try them with some better players 
TPE has been pretty awesome for my game and has really opened my eyes into new stuff so gotta thanks everyone here for that. Graph after joining:
Think that’s all for today. Now gonna hit bigdoggy 109d series part five, have loved the series so far! Funny stuff

Hello. Summer is soon over and thought it would be appropriate to wrap up this thread although no one probaly isn’t waiting for any updates
Haven’t got the volume in what I wanted this summer, not sure why though, I have mostly been just playing online poker. Lost weight 7kg and have had really unbalanced summer otherwise too, super unhealthy sleeping patterns and everything. Realized today how exhausted I actually am and absolutely need to find some other things to do, can’t just play poker, study poker, eat, sleep. Occasionally I haven’t even eaten cause the breaks are so short. Also need to find a new chair, so ugly how many hours I have spent on a wooden chair last two months… Lower back pain is horrible.
Oh well, here’s the graph for this summer. At least I have a bankroll now.

What else, umm. Leaving to UK next week for two weeks with my friend, gonna play UKIPT in Newcastle first and then head to London to play some events depending on BR and feeling.

Ayy thanks for the support all Had my first 4figs ever in June so I guess it's possible to bounce from the micros like a rocket if you are just willing to put your heart in it and happen to have some rungood. Still so much work to do though and in order to achieve my goals I will need to work much much harder than what I did this summer already. This solid bankroll will definitely help me on the way to play the highest games but in the end it's just a matter of whether I'm willing to put hours and hours in studying and grinding. I have always wanted to keep good BRM and that is what I'm going to keep doing in the future too. That means no WCOOP for me this year 🙂 Or maybe just a few events…
Kinda sucks to miss online action for two weeks cause trying to ladder up @ P5 but on the other hand it's good to have some forced break from poker, well, online poker anyways. And if the internet connections are decent will grind a little online in the uk too.
