Hello everybody.

Im glad i joined this site. I have learned a lot specially from those bankroll builder videos. Thanks Panda and others.

But here is my own bankroll build challenge.

INFO:

* 1,10$ 45man turbo mtt/sng

* 300 sng/month (i know this is pretty small, but i have lots of work with school etc)

* bankroll atm 240$ (bankroll nit? should i play something else?)

Other:

* proof that im winning player at low stake

* next step: 3,25 45man and 2,20 180man

* Use sngwiz

* watch atleast 2 video in everyweek

* update this challenge once a week

* post intresting hands here

* make poker friends

* Play some microstake mtt tournaments (if i had time)

* Might play some PLO when i dont have time to grind these mtt/sng

Biggest leak (pls do not tell this to anyone)

Bubble play. Need to focus on this leak. Very important on these tournaments.

I hope good hands to everyone!

GL HF

Hello time to update

Have been very busy with school. Next week is going to be busy too but after next week i have some time for poker.

I have been played around 40 1,10$/45mans. Pretty much breakeven at those. Cant win those 10-15bb allin flips.

Tried to play couple bigfield MTTs, but AKo>KK and couple ICM push.

Only what i need is volume volume volume. With this small volume these losing streaks takes forever.

Hello again!

Played only 10 tournaments today. I tried 10 table… that is bit too much. Need to reduce that to 6 tables so i have enough time to think on tought spots.

Not many ICM mistakes, need to start shove more QJ, 89 type hands.

I really think my play is good enough to beat these stakes.

Here are the results:

3/45  I got big chiplead but my AK was not enough against AJ  and A4 vs K8s . (7$)

9/45

9/45

11/45

16/45

others +20

Tryed to be aggressive at near bubble. How come people wake up with Ax from blinds.

Volume volume volume (again)

Video request: ICM video. (Video full of ICM hands) Ou boy. 🙂

GL everyone

Maybe the 2.20's would be better seeing you pay the same rake.  I think the $1.20's are probably profitable, but the margin is so much smaller because of the rake.

If you still have ~240 that is 109 buy-ins at the $2.20's IMO that should be plenty.

thanks

This guy made samekind of play before (pot cbet and folded at turn).

Be more aggresive preflop.

Raise to 322 preflop here.

As played you should only call his river bet. You have now idea if you are ahead or behind. Flush and straight draws complete and with the big Vpip he has, he will allso be having som sevens and sets in his range.

btw. good luck with your project.

Keep it up dude the 45man SNG's are great on FTP too. The blind structure is not turbo which makes for a lot early play without having to push fold and accumulating chips is a little easier.

I am very impressed that you can play the $1 sng's and take them seriously maybe it says a lot about me that I can't I am not quite sure. 🙂 I always thought it felt like everyone was pushing any two cards at any time in those tournaments

Is your challenge strictly on one site?

I have been toying with the idea of playing on some of the new sites using SNG Wiz where ICM calculation and PUSH-FOLD startegy are the last thing on some of the users minds.

good luck with the rest of the challenge I know school and poker volume are a difficult combination

cheers

Heya Tigerspeck

I have played few FTP´s 45man before this challenge. I thinkg turbo format is much better for me because i feel i have most edge when we play 10-20bb and that game i want improve evenmore. Of course swings are bigger etc etc at turbos.

What comes to 1$ sng´s yes they will call you with anytwo, and suckout your aces. But value comes from those guys so you should be happy they call you with “anytwo”. You have to start somewhere and 1$ is where i start it, of course i will take shots soon if variance does not shows he/she´s arse to me. But i think it is good to have backup plan if that shot fails and have games that you can beat and build your roll again.

There is allways peoples that says ” ZOMGOMGROFL you have over 200buy ins at lvl 1$, Those 3$ are super soft go on play them”. I just want to be sure to beat these games.

ATM i only play at Stars, but in future (if i can build up my roll) i might move to Ongame client and start play 3,30$ 30man turbos. Euro sites more soft, no taxes, very good rakeback deals etc etc

“I know school and poker volume are a difficult combination” + GF = 24h is not enough frown

back to school works… darn Java

Hello

Long time no updates. I have been busy with school. Now i have a christmas holiday 🙂 I dont have to stress about school etc etc time for poker.

But there is only one problem, i have only 50 bucks in my poker account. Because bills, christmas presents etc etc.

So i have to stop play 45mans. I really love these tournaments i tought i take shots soon to 3$ 45mans. But not even near future.

Now i have to find how to rebuild bankroll to around 150$ so i can again start playing these.

Maybe HUSNG?

any advices?

Thanks everyone and happy christmas!

I had my wife play the $1.20 SNG's or the $1.75 turbo SNG's when she started with $50.  She has her roll over $175 right now.  After every two wins I had her play one $3.40 turbo SNG and she started winning those too to help her build her roll up.  Just a suggestion and if anyone else has better ideas on how to build a roll from $50 I would love to hear how too.
