Hey guys,

I have big plans for 2013! I want really focus the year on reaching my full potential. I mean this of course in poker, but in other aspects of life as well.

Let me share some backround info just in case you aren’t familiar with me. I’m a 19 year old MTT player from Colorado and I try to stay an active member here at TPE. I decided not to go to school right away after high school in may because I felt I wasn’t ready right away and I wouldn’t be gaining value. I think I have a solid understanding of how MTTs work and a really strong approach to winning them, but I could use a lot of work and tend to be really lazy when it comes to studying. I want to change that!

I’d love if you guys would share your ideas for poker new years resolutions and non poker resolutions. Every single idea you come up with will be written down and considered seriously. If you have any questions for me at all, go ahead and ask them, i’ll try to be as honest as possible. Thanks guys!

go to college, organise and commit to study groups, swap hand histories with members on a fortnightly basis, start working out, join a sports team, give serious consideration to moving overseas if you are continuing poker, i think you should go to college and try get into the exchange programs.

I would include some sort of health resolution.  Something like run 2 miles 3 days a week or something along those lines.

In regards to poker:
I can tell you are very good but
Consider hiring a coach.
I have worked with bodogari, bigdog and dannyn13, the maven, and am currently
working with assassinato. All have been ridic helpful.

If you havent already…..learn PLO or another game to add to your arsenal & bankroll

LIFE STUFF
1)try and learn a new language. Rosetta stone is amazing.
2) travel! At your age, the world is your oyster man. So much to see and do
In other countries.
3)learn how to cook. It will save you $ and is normally way healthier than
Eating out a lot.
4) go to florida and play some of the mtt circuit events. Fields are soft and you
Dont have to be 21
5). Find something else in life besides poker you enjoy or aspire to do, and dedicate 15% or
More of the the time and energy to it, that you have dedicated to poker. Youll be amazed
What you can accomplish.
6) done rambling…..just some recommendations
