Hi!

First of all ,this is a rather strange for me. Keeping track of my poker and charing it with others, but I know that this is exactly what I need to keep dicisplined and motivated.

So, whats the story, you ask? Well, I will within a day or two deposit $300 on Pokerstars to start my journey to become a winning player. This deposit is different from my other ones, management-wise, at least. I have made some smaller deposits on Pokerstars a couple of times now, often only $10 with the largest one being $50. Small deposits + bad BRM = busting. Same story everytime. I have walked the road that I think many of us have, running up the bankroll, binking some micro MTTs and thinking I was the best poker player ever, only to run it down again.
This time I will put work into kepping a strict BRM, moving up and down in stakes as the bankroll allows (with emphasis on down) and showing to myself that I can show profit if I give myself the right tools to work with.

So, what will I play? I believe MTTs are out of the question, for now, even though playing tournaments is the goal. The micro fields are just to huge and variance to big. Cash never seemed to be my game, so this leaves me to SnGs. More precisely 45-man and 180-man. I really enyoy playing these and think that it is a great place to start growing a bankroll. The buyins will range between $1,50 – 2,50. It may seem conservative but I really want to get some winning feeling before moving up in stakes.
I do not think I will have time to play everyday, but close to. Sessions may vary from 2 – 6 hours.

Goals (excluding the obvious one of being a winning player.):
Buy better HUD. (I use Jivaro for the time being.)
Buy ICMIZER.
Transition to MTT's.
Study more and better.
Get more comfortable multi-tabling. (Playing 5 – 6 now)

I will update as soon as the playing starts, there will be a lot of playing this weekend (girlfriend going out of town wink).
Lastly, I would love your inputs on this. Where did you start grinding up your bankroll? What should I focus on? Any tips are much welcome!

Karl
