Hey guys,
This is my first goals and challenges post. I’m sorry it’s so long.

First off, I want to say thanks to you guys for running this site and contributing. I’ve been a member less than two weeks, and I think it’s helped my game a lot. I’ve watched videos from a few different guys, but I gotta admit, I’ve always thought the bigdog was a sicko, and watching his videos has REALLY helped. So props to the bigdog, extra big thanks to you. I really look forward to new videos from everyone.

I hadn’t played online poker since black friday. From 01January until then, I was playing pretty well, and had cashed for ~10K with an ABI of less than $10. I made a few deposits here and there on lock but was never really into it. On 01July, I deposited $50, and by the end of the month cashed for over 2K in MTTs with quite a few final tables, and 2 wins. So I cashed out $1500 that I plan on using to play live. I played a few circuit events at Caesar’s AC this year which is where I heard about this site. I ended up bubbling a $345 on a flip for a huge stack, AKhh<99. Anyways, I plan on playing live a lot this year and really want to focus on a few goals I have set for live MTTs. But that's a different thread.

So I had $4 on my Carbon account on Monday, and was going to depost there because Lock has been screwing me lately. (The Apple software tilts me to no end and their support has been less than favorable.) I jumped in the $1500 guaranteed $1r and ended up getting second for $270. Yesterday I played a few games with pretty poor results, but I did win a $109 seat for $11 that I planned on using for the Sunday major. Tonight I got off work and was feeling good, and I saw the $109 Turbo and decided I'd give it a shot since I'd been playing the deepstack turbos pretty well lately. At one point I was down to 3.5BBs with 12 left. Ended up winning a few pretty clutch flips and next thing I know I'm at the final table. Ended up busting 5th on good ol' AK<99 again, but cashed for $800, which put my Carbon BR at $950. So I've decided I'm not going to cash anything out, until I run it up to at least $5K using good BR management, which is something I've never really tried. I think it's definitely an attainable goal for me because I can really tell I'm playing the best cards I have in the 8+ years I've been playing. So we'll see. I'm excited about the challenge and I'll post here from time to time to keep up with my progress. Thanks for reading if ya made it this far! Hope to see ya at the tables, just stay outta my pots!

Either you will, or you won't.
