Just curious what everyone here does for a living (outside of poker). I am the head of sales and marketing for a record company called Tragic Hero Records. Mostly metal and rock stuff. Think Warped Tour type music.
I also help run a little website called Tournament Poker Edge
I’m a residential support worker for people with autism. It takes a lot of reading physical warnings and controlling ones own emotions. Shift patterns are fairly poker friendly, 2.5 days on 2 off and after the 3rd shift you get 9 days off. Hope it doesn’t make me a nice guy.
I'm still studying voice at the conservatory, but I have two coverbands that help me pay for instruments and tuition, and I wait tables when bookings are low.
I'm currently planning to build an income stream from blogging, inspired by the book 'The four hour workweek' by Timothy Ferris.

Awesome, your going pro! Someday, I hope to do the same, the more I play poker the more I realize I hate having managers, supervisors and other self-centered douches stepping on me to further their careers.

I am a microbiologist for a local hospital-go me I get to expose myself to disease all day. I am also attending graduate school, working on a plethora a mathemtical based projects, God only knows when I will finish. I love to learn and keep taking on new projects. I did freelance work as a photographer, promoter, etc but was burned out with the entertainment industry.

im a behavorial specialist at a residential treatment center for adolecent boys from ages 14-19. basically kids come from a lockup facility attend school, get therepy, and are in a very structured program. I work mostly in the cottages where they live.
definitly a stressful job but very fulfilling. much better than the 8 or so years i spent working in corporate america. hopefully, i can eventually supplement my shitty salary with massive poker winnings. only time will tell….
I'm a marine biologist… “Just like George Castanza” I hear you say… True, I'm a senior research scientist at the South Australian Research and Development Institute… My area of expertise is in cephalopod (squid/cuttlefish/octopus) biology/ecology and finfish population dynamics. So I'm adept at identifying fish in the ocean and am slowly transferring these skills to the felt!
I run this car dealership as of today …..esults.php . My last day is May 13th and then I move back to Vegas, poker is then my full time job. I have been waiting since 2005 to play poker for a living and now the timing is right.

More like a fart smelling machine operator….. Its not like I sniff it myself. But if the job gets any worse I might give it a try!
I do corporate training in Seoul.
Had several interviews at PokerStars lately, thought I might be able to find my way in sometime in 2011.The DOJ just took a massive steamer on my face.
Gotta get better at poker now. Hopefully I will be thanking this site in some sort of tournament win speech in the future. BTW, I'm guessing a few of the pros can't make videos anymore?
