I just got back from Vegas, couldn’t log in on here while out there on my gf’s blackberry.

I made day 2 of the $1k WSOP #13 but busted 183rd for $2518, reshipped 17bbs with 77 to EP raise and he called with KJ and hit J on river.

I got a good stack in the Venetian $350, 44k at 200/400 and had been getting into it with an aggro player a bit when I pick up AK in MP, make it 1k, he makes it 2500, I think for a while like I don’t know what to do and make it 6500, I just know this guy won’t let me 4bet him again and get away with it and he ships 38k with AQs, I call and lose 🙁 and go out shortly after. I busted early in the Venetian $560 with flush draw and an over vs over pair.

At Binions I played the $210 6 max and lost when I got it in with 2 overs and flush draw against A high and bricked out, came 3rd in the $210 on my last night for $2200. The structure is pretty bad and blinds were sky high by the end, I went out after SB limped with AA and I had 35s and flopped 236 and bricked out. It was funny how bad some of the players were in this, I shoved BvB on FT every time it folded to me in that spot and the guy tanked everytime saying he’s gonna catch me soon, I call with any 2 next time etc. By the time he called he had 2.5bbs and I shoved without looking at my cards and he called with 23o and I knocked him out with A9.

I chopped a $235 at Golden Nugget for $4k, With 8 people left most of them wanted to deal but I didn’t, then with 7 left they offered me $3500 and I said no (1st was only $5400, only 90 people entered) so they said they would give me $4k so I took it and they all took $1924.

So a profitable trip although would have liked to have binked in one of the bigger tourneys but I’ll take it.

Was wearing the TPE badge and sat with another player wearing one who was buddies with wein, also sat at a table with one of bigdogs buddies.

Had a drunk guy sat next to me at golden nugget who kept falling asleep at the table, he’d wake up and just throw chips in the middle then look down and notice he had no cards, mumble for a bit and fall back to sleep, was funny shit, I got most of his stack too.

Good job – here’s to hoping we all do as well! Only 1 more week til I leave – should have some good stories to share if it is anything like last year.
