OMG, I am so nervous. This is my first actual new thread that isn’t my self introductory thread.
Here we go.
Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to take advantage of tracking websites when scouting the competition? I have been using Official Poker Rankings, Poker Pro Labs, and Sharkscope to get an idea of who I meet at the table, but I don’t have any real insight yet on how to fully take advantage of these websites. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have also come across a player who shows up when I search them on each of the websites I have mentioned here, but they do not have any results despite being the most common opponent I have faced. I have the most hands against the player in question, so I am very curious as to why their results are not shown?

I find them to be of limited use, though I guess there’s more variation in player skill at smaller stakes. Mostly I use it to get a sense of what someone is capable of. An inexperienced or heavily losing player probably won’t know shoving ranges well, but a winning regular will, and that should affect your calling ranges (mostly you’ll want to call tighter and shove wider vs the inexperienced players). It may also affect things like the sophistication of their post-flop play. But still, for getting reads, observation > HUD > tracking sites.
