Just listened to your latest podcast and realized i'd overlooked this thread somehow?! anyhow some nice links here ill post a few for you guys when i get the chance.
For now, as KB is a fellow guitarist i will post this one for him. This link is me playing a cover of andy mckee song on guitar. Pretty damn impressive Goliath. Always wish I had tried harder to be good. Played in bands for the better part of 2 decades but never knew what I was doing. Taught myself and just tried to look as cool as possible! 🙂

Ahhhhhhh….a Waits fan!!!! Have all his stuff, been a fan forever now, seen him 3 times live. I need something new to listen to on Pandora while I am grinding. Someone mentioned Atmosphere Radio to me last year and completely fell in love with it, but sadly, played the hell out of it! When I am not listening to that, I am listening to classic hip/hop on Pandora. I know Lupe Fiasco is pretty popular and have tried that also, but I am getting old, and not hip on the scene of what is out there anymore. Any suggestions? I love stuff like Eminem, but not a fan of 50 cents at all…guess you can call me old school, but really have loved the hell out of a lot of the music played on Atmosphere Radio.

there is a segment on a station JJJ down here where they get bands to do a cover of some other song, this was BoT's effort. its awesome
and just to prove the musical talent of the front man Ian Kenny, this is his other band, Karnivool, who are also super awesome.

Awesome! I have been listening to Birds of Tokyo and Karnivool a lot recently!! WOW I did not know that Lenny was also the front man for Karnivool…crazy.

havent 100% organised it, but there is a free concert put on by JJJ down here about 8 hours away from where i live where birds of tokyo and art vs science are headlining. should be awesome

this is mostly for metasploit, but i did end up going down to the One Night Stand Concert, 600km each way road trip, but it was 100% worth it.
art vs science absolutely killed it, they nearly stole the show from birds of tokyo, but they were both awesome.
here are some live youtubes that i found, i didn't film either of them.
i have some photos as well, might start my first blog with a TR 😀
sound quality isnt great on this one but its still cool

that art vs science link doesn't do magic fountain justice either, there was like a 2 minute intro before the song finally kicked it, it was awesome.
