did anybody watch? I just watched it, and really enjoyed it. You can check it out here.
needs more Tony G. He beat PH in a pot that PH played atrociously and then said something along the lines of “Uhoh, get him a bike…. he can’t even ride a bike!” which is clearly a reference to …..prGnEjm2oE
I watched all 4 episodes last night. This show is just fantastic.
Can’t underestimate how intimidating it must be for the loose cannon. I agree that he is playing very poorly, getting pushed around by Daniel and missing tremendous value on river frequently. However, as goroyalblue said it must be tough for someone who appears to be weak at the game to play against these guys. He must just be relieved at the river to not be facing big bets and since there are draws that hit frequently I can see why he’s missing the value and just checking behind. Obviously it’s bad but I can see how it’s happening.
The entertainment value is awesome. The Phil vs. Cannon hand was epic and Tony G steaming is just hilarious.
Laak is playing lights out too.
This show is just the nuts… So many things right about it. I never really praise anything, but this show is awesome.
The exchange between Tony G and Phil is just classic. I think Daniel N. and co are a bit hard on Phil for no reason, but that’s another topic in itself.
Congrats to Stapes and co!

I thought it was bad. This guy Jason is not Durr and wouldnt be pulling some bluff on the river on such a scary board thats paired. Although I think he should have raised the set on the turn and I think thats what threw Daniel. Anything with showdown value less than a fullhouse calls Daniels bet on the river…..imo
Ive watched a couple of episodes. This is the only entertaining poker show format I’ve seen. I really cant stand watching televised tournaments etc but this is pretty much fun due to the noob/intimidation factor of the LC and the ambivalence of the pros in wanting him to get chips from the other pros etc etc

Week 3 …..is it just me or does it seem like this is a much easier field for Nadia to play against. I mean these guys play pretty straight forward and havent been really going after her.
this is the lineup that i would least want to play against if i were the LC. Bonomo Mercier and Cada all play strictly NLHE, and Daniel Alaei is just Daniel Alaei. If there’s an “underrated” in poker then it’s Alaei. I hate to say it, but Barry is probably the soft spot at the table tbh, at least until Joe Cassidy shows up. Week 2 was likely the best lineup for a LC, given Abe, Doyle and Daniel are all mixed game specialists and Calacanis is just some random.
I agree more cash game guys here with Bonomo and Alaei but Greenstein isnt that tough and Mercier tries to play aggro like Durr but cant. Cada cant get out of his own way, he is the next Moneymaker who donked his way to a bracelet. But it just seems like they dont go after the LC like they went after the other two, maybe because they want to score big
