Hi TPE
I'm looking to get a group of 3-4 other TPE members together for a study/review group to try to improve our games, thoughts about the group would be:
– once a week one member of the group sends a full MTT hand history to the other members for review/feedback
– agree on a set of videos (either in TPE University or recently added) to watch over a 1 week period and discuss any hands they don't understand or disagree with
– share any articles you've recently seen and want to discuss
– possible staking (for example if we all play at say the $10 buy-in level we could all stick a buy-in each month for one group member to take a shot at a $40-50 tourney, splitting any winnings back to the group and reviewing the hand history afterwards)
Am open to other ideas, and can scrap any of the above ideas we all aren't happy with. If you are interested let me know your email address and I'll send out a first email once we have 4 others who are interested – I'll probably cap it at that as I don't want the emails to become unmanageable and want everyone to get a decent rotation of having their hand histories reviewed. At the moment I'm playing buy-ins around the $10 level, mainly on Pstars, with some lower buy-ins mixed in such as the Velociraptor on Full Tilt.
Cheers and good luck at the tables.

Hey
Thanks for posting. My intention is to try to do this over email. The problem with Skype is everyone needs to find a time to hook up which is difficult if we are in different time zones. With email no one misses anything which should hopefully keep the group going.
Cheers. Al.

Hey Kalculater, lapp3r30 – lets try and do this via Skype then – we will need a day/time to regularly try though, which is kinda my concern if we aren't in the same time zone.
I can do Fridays 9:30am to 3pm GMT, and Wednesday's 8pm to 10pm GMT. Not a massive window of opportunity I know, but let me know if any of these would work and we can hook up on Skype and go through on of our hand histories to kick off.
Cheers. Al.

Hi Brad
9:30am GMT sounds good – I'm planning on getting some 1-on-1 training from Matt Hunt in the New Year but am hoping to still have time to hook up with a regular group to discuss hands for an hour or so once a week – I'm busy over the next few weeks but will add you in over the Xmas period with the plan to have the first call at 9:30am on Fri Jan 9th.
We will need to circulate hand histories before then so I will hop on Skype and ask for your email address – once we have 3-4 of us we can email the first hand history round and discuss interesting spots on the Skype call.
Kalculater, lapp3r30, derSchwartz – can any of you make 9:30am regularly on a Friday? If so let me know and if I don't already have it let me know your Skype id too and I'll be in touch.
Cheers. Al.

Hi Brad
Just been having a look at ChipMeUp – is it reliable and do you still use it? I'd like to use it to play some $26 buyins on Full Tilt instead of my usual level which is around half of that so selling half of the entry fee would be a great way to do it – but depends if it's possible to actually get enough people to buy 50% of you before you play.
Cheers. Al.

Hello, I would like to join your group if I can. My participation would be a little different as I only play live and so no hand histories for me. But happy to share hands that went well or not…….. I have played on line though, so I am familiar with the differences. skype ok, email might work better with differing schedules
