Not really sure about new shows but here's my top 5 shows and they are a MUST watch.

1) Breaking Bad – Best television series I've ever watched, hands down. Airs on AMC and we are currently halfway through the last season now (season 5). It restarts again in the spring. If you haven't started this series do so ASAP.

2) Game of Thrones – Phenomenal. Airs on HBO and there has been two seasons so far. It's kind of hard to follow because there is so much going on so I would recommend watching it twice. Great character play in this series (not to mention a lot of sex). Season 3 starts in April. 

3) Prison Break – Spectacular. You can watch all 4 seasons on Netflix. The main character is a genius and plays a brilliant role. He really does some sick “leveling” in the show. Poker players will enjoy this one.

4) Dexter – Amazing. Series airs on Showtime and the 7th and final season starts Sept 30. If you like to watch series that will mess with your mind this is a good one. Exhilarating to say the least.

5) The Walking Dead – Great. Airs on AMC and the third season starts Oct. 15. Not your typical zombie show. Drama inside the group keeps things interesting.

Others to consider – Sons of Anarchy, Boardwalk Empire, and It's Always Sunny in Philly.
