Hi All,

I'm usually a microstakes grinder while the highest buy-ins that I usually go for is $25. i've had decent success since joining this site in April and would like to be backed for getting into medium to high stakes playing.

Absolute poker – RedRaidersTt. I've done fairly well with a few wins but would like to try higher stakes

FullTilt-bucky2007. I've done slightly better here since joining this site with 15 or so final tables during that stretch. These final tables are all in the micro ranges except for a few $26 tournaments

Pokerstars- RedRaidersTT- I grind sitngos on this site as they fill up really fast but I don't play much on this site

please let me know what it will take to get backed and hopefully do some good

Idk if this is intended to be a thread for people who are looking to be backed in general or not, but Panda said he got backed after the $12 180 man grind to play MTTs.  I am not sure yet if I want to be backed or not, but the thing is I am going to school in september and playing golf on the team there so I won't have a lot of time to grind low buy ins all day.  It would be nice to be able to just play a few $55-$200 tourneys every few nights( nice class scheduale that will allow for this).  My roll would be pretty extended at those stakes though and would love to maybe discuss a backing deal with someone for the afore mentioned stakes.

Side note: I consider myself better(it's all relative) at mixed games and especially razz than hold'em.  I started with a $100 roll playing .25/.50 razz and stud, so i have experience in all games.

i enabled sharkscope for pokerstars too so you can look at both my names there. PM me if anyone is interested in discussing it.

being backed would be a fulltime gig bud because it basically comes down to volume me personally id keep grinding your 180s and take your own stab here and there ,

Agreed. I won't move up until I can afford it myself. I also don't see splitting half the winnings when doing all the work.

I agree with dbt and cheche, I am not sure it would be all that easy to get someone to back you especially if you haven't developed/played much in the area where you are looking to play backed. I would suspect it would be much easier if you showed that you had the bankroll to be playing there and some modest success at that level as well, to make the investment a lot less risky, imo.

I would love to be 'backed' to play small and or micro stakes mtts, even as little as a few tournaments a week.

I do have a full time job so my volume would be low right now (but that could change if a particular job prospect works out)  but if anyone is willing to take a shot with me I am 100% trustworthy and loyal and would never screw anyone over. (hey, im a Newfoundlander after all) 🙂

I was backed and coached by Diablo VT / NSXT2 on Stars and FTP (Todd Arnold – used to be the site rep for Paradise Poker before it shut out US players) in 2007 / 2008.

I would almost rather play on a smaller site or play smaller MTT's or 90 mans on FTP since I don't really have 8 hours to commit to winning a tournament on a week day.

Thanks for reading guys

cheers

alright, I'm not sure I want to be backed anymore any, i am rolled 250+ buy ins for the $55 tourneys now.  If any one wants to talk about maybe splitting sunday action, or backing for specific tournaments PM me.  Or aim me.  Maybe some WCOOP events or something, i am definitely playing the razz but probably not selling action in that.

there are websites for this.  I dont want to put them on here as i do not work for them, but I have 2 friends who get backed from this site.  One got backed for $20k this month and my other friend got backed for $5k for this month.  These sites are huge and I am sure a google search would bring them up.
