Today i was thinking about something that happend to me just this week. So my friends organized a trip in greece [ im in Romania ] from friday to wednesday. I thought about it long and hard and decided that, given we don't have wi-fi in there [ for some reason.. ] i can't come cause i don't wanna miss a sunday of poker. But as we all know, sundays and days of poker in general might be very dissapointing and then you just sit there thinking: i could've been in greece, bathing and sunning and drinking mojitos..instead im at my house, is hot as hell, and i just busted out of a tourney.

How do you decide if it's worth it?

If you don't play poker for a living and you don't regualrly make good cashes on Sundays, then I would go on the trip and have a blast with your buddies while you still have the chance……glory days!

There's plenty of sundays in the year to grind.

Never pass up good opportunities to be with friends and family. You simply dont know how many times they will come by, tomorrow is never gauranteed for anyone.  And once they are gone no amount of money will change that. Life  > Money.

I think you answered the question yourself. Poker happens every Sunday and everyday. Greece is only happening at that particular moment and may be awhile if ever to the next time. If you were killing poker every Sunday then you could afford to get away, if you were loosing every Sunday then you should get away. Either way my friend the answer lies in Greece.
