Hi guys! Just watched video when bigdog won 250K tourney! In the end he mentioned gboro780. I still can’t believe how tough and good this player is! HOW DOES HE MAKE IT???? He runs almost always hot and deep? I just can’t realize it! anyone knows something about him, about his game and the main question how did he manage to make so GOOOOOODDDD his game?? TPE pros u probably know something interesting! Waiting for answer! -)

i think players like him are outliers tbh. they are obviously doing all the hard work that goes into knowing how to raise/fold perfectly, raise/call perfectly, push/fold perfectly, range people better than anyone else, etc, etc.

but there is, imo, something else inexplicable about players like gary boro, djk, yevgeney, etc that just makes them the best. maybe it’s a concentrated power of will or some uncanny ability to pick up on very subtle patterns in betting, timing, gameflow, etc. but it really is impressive.

I mean ive met him Ive talked to him a few times. He busted me from wsop circuit main event. He is a great guy from what ive seen and the bottom line is gborro is just the best mtt poker player in the world. Ive always said its very hard to teach instincts and he has them. Obviously none of us are ever going to be gborro because only 1 person can be the best. But I think if we do the right things we can all get pretty good. 🙂

the guy who i thought was the best for the longest time was dipthrong true sicko seems in my mind he was 1 of those who was ahead of his time he new all the stuff most are learning now he new years ago , perfect icm , his bet sizing was flawless and he had a great read on restealing also ive never heard one bad comment from him at any table true champ in my mind and 1 ive always looked up to. winner of the triple crown and countless ships with many magors i know hes a freind of the forum i only wish he would post or reply would love to step into his mind,
