Yesterday FullTilt notified me that it was reimbursing me $5.00 of money that it had confiscated from accounts that had been discovered to be cheating.  They offered no information as to the nature of the transgression-identity of the cheater, which games had been affected or how the cheating had been accomplished.  I do appreciate getting the money back but I would like to know more about how the cheating occurred.  Does any one have any idea?

There is a topic on 2+2 (sorry I don't have the link) which talks about a bunch of people who were banned for using robots. Possibly from that. I was reading it a few weeks back.

It is common practice for sites to “hide” the details when these issues happen. I believe it is partially to prevent simular cheating, or giving the cheaters information on how the site detected them to begin with, and prevent them from developing anti-detection methods. I was playing DoN's on stars back when they uncovered the Chinese collusion rings and I was amazed at the lack of information they provided to the players affected. They just said here is your admin. credit you were affected by cheating.

Yeah I heard there was bots on FullTilt Poker and some people have been refunded some $$$. It happended to me once on PokerStars.

It's good to hear that the popular poker sites are working hard to keep thw game fair. But who knows when these bots will stop?
