hi
tonight i came in second in the five hundry by midnight
it is deep stack (3000 chips) six handed, 10 minutes blinds as a previous rule I had,, i hated 6 handed but what can i say ,, i didnt' expect to come in second.. let alone make the final table out of 499 entries for 72.60 dolllars.
i haven't done that since i came in first in rush on demand turbos sit and goes that would build up to big numbers before ftp went down in the first place.
so here was my strategy
i outline a plan to play some deep stack tourneies for 1.10.. for max money the 750 guarantee at 12,, and the 2 entry free for 300 guarnatee escalator deep stack tourney.
in fact before i placed second tonight my roll was 4 bucks and i was preparing to deposit tomorrow.
so here is my questions.
do i adhere to the plan perhaps add in the 1040 500 guarnatee 3 reentries .
or do i try to use this windfall to build it up through mtt sit and goes ?
to be truthful there isnt' any 90 or 180 sit and goes on http://ftp.. best you got is 45 or on demand torunies which could go up as high as 700 and they are rush turbos.
or should i transfer to pokerstars and do 90 person turbos if you had the option ?
on looking at stars the only thing that interests me is the 2.500 guarantee for 1.10 3000 startin stacks
ten minute blinds levels..
the main reason why i went deep stack is it would give me time to play small ball at the beginning work on building my preflop/postflop skills so i wouldnt' be resorting to push fold mode for a while.
and at what stage would you move up to 2.20s ?
