I couldn't find a thread on this documentary, not sure if one exists.
I just finished watching this documentary and sort of wonder what others thought of it..?@?$?
I'm really mixed, I wanted to like it, I did like it, now it's over, and I think it was a boring. I think it may be a lot better for someone completely unfamiliar w online poker. I think the end product was very well done. But I also feel like the story/characters left a lot to be desired. I feel like the stories within “From Busto to Robusto” were a lot more interesting and just overall the characters were more developed.
I'm just curious to hear other peoples thoughts… Or perhaps a thread exists somewhere else (that I can't find) and I can go read peoples posts.

I had the same kind of reaction…I was really excited about it, bought into the hype, even helped with the crowdfunding campaign. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't the story of online poker that they kept prattling on about. It was more three stories from the world of online poker. Mildly interesting, possibly educational for people unfamiliar with this world, but not THE documentary about the rise & impact of online poker as had been suggested.
