Hey guys,
I think a lot about poker lately and came up with this little puzzle:
“What setup of cards gives our hero the best winning chance at a 10 handed table, when only the pocket cards can be set up but the rest of the deck will be randomly mixed so that the outcome of flop, turn and river cannot be predicted.”
After a bit of thinking I found a setup giving 95,8% winning chance for our hero.
I am, however, sure there are even more profitable setups, which still need to be discovered/thought of.
I used pokerstove for my calculations, to clearly show what I mean I've added an image of my card-setup but blacked out the cards.
Anyone who wants to try and beat this solution?
We can share uncensored images and ideas later.
GL!
