£30+£3 buy in on William Hill…..roughly 150 runners…..40 still in…..stacks/pot etc very close but not 100% bang on…..

I had a been at the table for about an orbit and won boths hands I'd played, one got to show down…

It folds round to me in MP, I've got 25k @ 400/800 + ante and Adiamond7o, I open with my standard raise to 1600, it folds round to the SB who calls…he has 21,200…

With a pot of roughly 4450 the flop is 8diamond 6diamond 9diamond

I Cbet 1550, SB calls making the pot 7550, the turn is Qheart

Now my plan is to check with a view to check raise any bet, I be happy to take to pot with the check raise but have loads of outs, any diamond, any 5, 10 and maybe an ace…

He bets 5k, leaving 18k behind, making the pot 12,550 with my stack now at 21,850. A call would leave me 16,850 with a pot of 17,550…

I know what I did but what do you do in this spot…..call, fold, shove?

????? smile

Kinda confused by how you posted this. Are you asking for turn advise or river advise? Did you mean to post a river card?

Well I think that if you decide to open this hand from this position then the hand has been pretty standard up to the turn. I'm interested in how other people would of played it, hope this helps, I will post the out come later…

My apologies, he called from the button……anyway, I check the turn, he bet out so I shove planning to hit something nice on the river! Well, the river brick didnt help and he showed down pocket 8's for a flopped set…

Good luck to everyone at the tables smile

Can someone explain why check/jam rather than two barrel?

Think your going broke in this hand regardless.
