Hey guys. Have a hand that im curious about. This was at final table of wsopc event 1 in AC. I have about 900k, villian has about 500k, blinds are 12k,24k with 4k ante.
Action is 8 handed.
Im in the BB with J9o. Guy opens UTG for a minraise to 48k. 116k now in pot and its 24k for me to call so I come along. I realize we dont have to defend here, but the player was pretty passive postflop and i figured i might be able to see at least 4 cards before he tried to get any more money from me. As far as pre flop, he hadnt been opening too much, I figure his range here is A10s+ 99+ KQs
Flop comes 810J rainbow, i check and he leads out for 70k. What is your move here?

Folding pre. As played, i am check-raise/ getting it in. Think
Its a fold bc most people arent getting too out of line with 25BBs from UTG
. we should be assigning him a range that crushes ours alot of the time.
Assuming you got it in on the flop, and he had an overpair or JJ.
Interested to hear results.
Grats on making the FT

thanks Pierre. yeah i think postflop plays itself there, so I guess my post is really just to get bashed for the preflop call because I need to learn from my mistakes lol. I even had a buddy pull me aside and tell me I dont HAVE to defend my BB every single time and to let the guys take stabs at eachother for a bit. it was a long FT and I lost a little focus. Gonna learn from it and ship the 365 on monday
