Was at work for both nights of the final table. Really was just thinking about heads up when I was reading number of hands played and stack sizes. Since Reiss was a circuit grinder with some good results. Was it in his favor for a longer heads up or did Farber have enough experience and rail advisors to off set some of the aggression shown? Can't remember and too lazy to look up Moneymakers hand count head up.

Guess my question is even with the chip disparity what %s did you in your head give to Farber/Reiss before head up started stack sizes taken in consideration.

From what I saw on pre final table coverage, Reis looked much more competent. I saw a couple of hands were he realised his pairs weren't good and turned them into bluffs and made other good players fold better hands.

He applied pressure at good times and seemed like a pretty confident player. The interview with him saying “Im better at everyone at this final table, so I'm going to win” was pretty sick too! I'd def have had my money on him before it started! It looked like he was taking a lot of the right spots and willing to fold in key spots too.

I've played w/ Reiss before he was “the Beast” lol.  Always seemed like a solid player to me.  At the FT, I felt like he played really well, make greats calls and lay downs.  Jay played well also.  HU's, I thought Reiss just had to outlast Jay.

Lets be honest, Reiss run like god heads up and crushed lots of flops but he played well and I felt deserved the win.  I would have liked to have seen Benefield w chips.  Would have been interesting to see how he would have bossed the table if he had a big or top 3 stack instead of short stack at FT.  Tran tried, but just didn't have any cards.  He was opening w/ K2o, J6o, lol.  He tried.

I'm hoping next year I'll be Jay w/ some of my Pro/Semi-Pro friends at the WSOP FT w/ me. dreams, lol

Reiss definitely had the advantage HU ainec, however I didnt think he did anything too impressive.  He was obviously card racking but there were a few hands that I was able to read him easily(or would have done somethnig differnt that seemed obvious to me).

The first being the q7 fold on 7323 agains the farber 56.  The turn brough t a FD, which I thnik is the main reason for me wanting to call down.  Calling turn and folding river seems bad, I think calling turn and calling river is fine or folding turn.  The blank 9(maybe 10?), on the river also isnt a huge concern outisde of backdooring a pair with the flush draw.  And I thik farber may check that a decent amount of the time.  Obviously I can easily be called out for being results oriented, and I cant prove I thought farber was light as it was happening, so oh well.

Another pretty bad play was his 56 bluff a few and saltter on JJ33x, any good player would snap call that river with K high(imo), and if he wanted to take a credible bluff line I think he should c/r river.  His c/c, c/c, donk allows farber to bink a pair on the river.  Throwing out a small c/r on turn is the same price but also sets up the possibility of it getting expensive for farber.

Also not a fan of the way reiss played the JJ(when farber had a4 in the 4 bet pre pot).  He may have got max value but it just seemed like he was seeing ghosts.
