This is my first attempt at posting a HH. So, correct me if I get it wrong.  Villain is 38/23 over 26 hands.    Pokerstove tells me that I am 52 to 47 favorite.  Question: being OP was fold good or should I have called or jammed since I was 2:1 in chips.  It's early in game and  risking 1,435 to win 180 seems a little foolish. But I'm not sure. Thanks for the feedback

Never jam. This is a very simple call to set mine and simply check/fold most flops if you do not connect.

Ya I wouldn't jam for sure.  I'd call and just spike an 8 and take all his chippies.

You are early so it isn't that much to make the call and see what happens. The play in the DD is pretty clowny early on so there is a lot of room to call and see what you can work post flop. There is a really good chance you have the best hand and can take the pot down on the flop/turn with some good post flop play.

Thanks for the responses.  I'll play it better next time.
