Hey guys. Great training site. I've been cramming my head with knowledge from the videos and have been trying to apply it to my game with little success.  There is so much stuff to absorb. I've been playing single table, 45, 90 and 180 sng's and big MTT's. My question is Is there one area I should concentrate on to build up my skill? Should I do just SNG's or just MTT's or keep mixing it up?

Those SNG are a good place to start. Not sure what your Bankroll is but the micro tournys on PS that range from $2-10 have gurantees for a few thousand usually. Even though there are a lot of donks it still is good value for practice and if you make a final table a good bankroll booster.  I wouldn't overwhelm yourself with watching many videos at once, just a couple. Rewatch them and take notes. Just simple 1 sentence notes really helps when your in a tight situation.  I would suggest the theory videos as a good place to start. If you like KO tournaments they did a couple on the low buyin. Most important HH reviews!

I suggest starting with the vids that go over push/fold stacks and 3bet shove stacks….then I would play large volume of cheap tournies that allow you to practice those moves such as the $3.30 90mans on fulltilt. I found these have improved my game a ton and added to my bankroll nicely.

I would try to play MTTs seperately from the SNGs when you are learning.  That way you can focus on each type of play and really try to think about what you're doing.  I suggest the 180 mans though and maybe MTTs on good days because those 180 mans are really soft and good to multitable.  Also 90 mans.

Yeah there is definitely a big difference between 9 man sngs and 180 man sngs.  A massive difference.  Whatever you decide to focus on, stick to it.  I would suggest the 180 mans like panda said – Once you start to crush them (and they are soft and you will eventually beat them), then you can start expanding your horizon and games.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm doing well crushing the $3.40 18 mans, slowly building my bankroll. I'm also concentrating on the $4.40 180's which is helping me apply all the stuff I've been learning here.
