44+ A7s+ A5s-A2s ATo+ K9s+ KJo+ QTs+ JTs

B – This is his opt shoving range acc to the charts I use. But your gonna make adjustments acc to what type of player u think villain is.

Yeah my OS range would probably be a little bit wider from villains perspective and include more sc's T9s 98s etc

Calling range from hero against an unknown for me would be 66+ A8s+ ATo+ KJs+ KQo or something like that

What i'd do with AJo is ask myself if he's shoving any weaker aces – if the answer is yes then i'd call, easy call here.

No stats on the Villain as just moved to the table, I was torn between calling/folding – think it would have been snapola!!! if he was late pos but from UTG I thought he needed a hand – wasn't sure if calling off half my stack would have been right here though?

Mmfitter? have youm got a copy of these shove charts or anywhere I can download them from please as I think this is an area of my game that I am struggling with.

i downlaoded an excell shove chart once on my previous laptop where you could fill in the stacks and positions which adjusted the “correct” shoving ranges from 2+2.

im sure you can google it or someone here has it.

if you find it, share me the link aswell 😉

With no reads I think a safe range to give him would be 66s+ a10o+ a9s+ KQs.. An isoshove is borderline you can go either way but I am probably jamming it in there.

I am personally 3 bet shoving here…You are more than likely way ahead of his open shoving range…if he has a bigger ace so be it but many times you will be ahead.

i'm torn between shoving and folding to be honest. if i had more reads (and by more i mean any) then it's a much clearer decision. but seeing that this is the firs hand i've seen him shove i'd give him the benefit of the doubt most of the time.

if i felt that my short stack play was much better than the opposition though it's a call and you still have 10bb after all's said and done. i just think there are probably going to be better spots.

Readless makes this tougher but this is a marginal spot imo and not worth it. You have a great 3bet shove stack and calling off instead, for half your stack in a marginal spot seems spewy. I feel like people are giving this UTG jam with 11bb's too wide of a range. Usually if a guy is waiting and blinding down so low that means they are TAG and waiting for premiums, especially UTG. Yes he could have just lost a big pot or something instead of blinding down but since he just moved to the table I think we have to just go off the chip stack and assume tight. I am probably giving villian a range of 88+, AJo+, and KQs+. I would fold here and look for 3bet shove spots.
