I would really REALLY like to know what you peeps around here would have done in this situation, both from the start of the hand. But more important for the talk between me and a friend; what you would have done had you played the hand like HERO in this situation.

Thanks alot.

+1.  If we assume he misses 2/3 of the flop if he's holding high cards then you take the pot down right there.   If he's got a pair then you have a zillion outs.  If he has AA, KK or QQ you're in trouble but that's only a part of his range and is balanced by all the stuff you're doing great against.

I think flop jam is fine, as played on the river I think I may be able to find a hero fold, but tbh idk if that is correct.  It's a line that is literally flopped sets and AA, and then 3-barrells.  When someone 3-barrells, I find it super interesting.  If they are not that good, then their range is weighted towards bluffs because they are not 3-barreling light enough with hands like TPTK etc.. that their range becomes nuts/bluffs and the combos of bluffs always outweigh the nut or super super strong hand combos.  For example, on this board when the high-card on the flop hits the river he me shut down with AA, AK, and so on, because he isn't capable of extracting thin value like that.  If that's how you would describe this player, then I would lean towards call on the river, b/c his hands are weighted towards bluffs.  If you think he is capable of extracting somewhat thin value here with AA and AK then I would lean towards fold.  I would just jam flop though, you are never dead, and have solid equity against the top of his range, straights, sets etc.  Just my two cents.

I agree raising and getting it in flop would prob be correct play, but for arguments sake, say you are at the river and has played it like this upto that point.

Call or fold, and why ?

Another info bout the player I may share is his VPIP/PFR ; 12/9 over 120 hands.

please share stats in your post first time, it helps.

as played, up against a 12/9 i think i fold here. i dont think there is that much in his triple barrel range that we beat save for something like AsXs
