Personally I encourage a fold pre here with your hand pre ante. All this hand will do is get you in to trouble post imo (and you are leaking chips). Now maybe if you were suited and wanted to open in late position, then I can see an open (depending on the villains left to act and if they are tight or loose), but even then you want to make sure you are playing the hand understanding you are playing for implied odds, and most likely its going to take multiple streets to make a made hand (unless you flop 2 pair, trips, etc.). One thing I always ask myself before playing a hand, is what you are trying to accomplish with it. You want to the best you can to have a plan post and how you are going to proceed on flop, turn, and river.

I apologize, I didn't answer your question in the previous post. With the way played, I would probably take the same line in regards to c betting and hopefully you take it down. I think that with the villain calling, then I check/fold turn. He could be slowplaying jacks and 7s-1010s are in his range. If he is floating with Ace high, more power to him, fold turn and move on to the next hand.

sorry i didn't say which tourny it was.. it was the 11 deep stacks on PS. that is probably the only tourny you can really play poker. 30 min blinds level. so when you are so deep you can open up your game a little. i like to raise here more with marginal hands. one of the reasons to do so is when the hand go to showdown and other players see what hands you are raising with, they will open up their game against you.

One thing to think about is turning our hand into a bluff. It's pretty clear that the villain's range after calling the flop has us beat most of the time. The only exception would be possible ace high floats. Hands we are behind obviously include Jacks(one would think most of the time this is AJ) and then bigger pairs then 55. Determining our opponents range is pretty villain dependent, but it's very important to narrow down if we are going to try and turn our hand into a bluff. If we feel his range includes mid pairs and ace high floats with some sort of jack, I feel we should bet here. If he just calls, I'm betting most rivers when checked to. If we feel he isnt the type to float with mid pairs and ace highs, we give up.

pre ante this is a fold preflop for me, if it was suited i may open. as played i would cbet flop, check back the turn in position and if villian bets the river when 3c peels, i would prob call depending on the sizing as he still has alot of air in his range at this point i feel.
