I am having this spot come up quite frequently and I'm not sure how you guys handle it. Here's a sample hand:

50/100 6 max.

Villain opens to t300 and has a tightish steal range.
I have AA in the BB with 2200. I flat.

Flop Q 2 4.

He bets 200 into 600. I feel like if I flat a lot of players will put me on a hand with SD value and generally shut down. So I'm almost giving him huge odds to draw out on me (if he has a 2 or 5 outter) and also he'll check the turn so get 2 free cards to do so.

Do you think it's better to make a small check raise like I usually do (I made it 475) or to just flat? Obviously if villain is very aggro or capable I would just flat but I feel like a leak with most players is they don't double barrel or triple enough.

with zero for antes i prolly 3 bet this pre and hope to get it in, i just hate missing an opportunity to get it all in pre and let villain see a flop he hates and get away

agree, unless pot to stack ratio is small and any flop bet is going to effectively commit villain, i wouldn't flat pre either.
even 3betting very small to try and induce could work here. if you make it something like 720, then if villain calls you have 1480 left into a pot of 1490, and then you can decide which street to get your money in on.

I think that has merit but I'm much more inclined to 3b even something like KK with a 22bb stack. I think the chances are just much too great he can be r/fing vs my 22bb stack where I don't really want to lose action with AA. Flatting makes the pot like 600 with 2000 behind.

I was more concerned with postflop since I get into that spot all the time. Assume you didn't 3b pre and how do you handle the flop OOP?

I would 3-bet, like ttwist mentioned, you want to get it in pre if possible but you do not want to scream monster, or scare him off.  Also, try to play the same way you do with all your playable hands in regards to your position, uncharacteristic bets is a huge tell.

jjyykk I think we all see what your saying but this really isn't a flatting spot and with those stack sizes a 3 bet should be your play in hopes of getting it all in pre or setting up a pot sized shove on flop….as played your giving the villian the right price to draw out on you!yell

I 3bet this spot to 750 and get it in on any flop…. Your check raise should be a lil more i think but as played he prob went away…
