Say you have 8k to 11k, a tourney M of 8-11.

blinds 200/400 with ANTES, initial POT 1050 chips.

 

Assuming someone comes for a RAISE of 1000, theres already 2050 chips in the pot, we have a good re-steal stack…EASY SHOVE

 

Now my problem lately has been, when someone in the same situation limps. Well if theres like 2 or 3 limpers i think  I would jam my stack…what if im dealing just with one limper?

If theres just one limper there will be 1450 chips in the pot……its see too much to shove 8 to 11k…..what to do in this particular situation.

You could just raise and evaluate board textures and cbet when you think it will be profitable, that way if things don't go well you still have a stack that can open shove, etc.

Yeah. If your normal open is 2.2 to 2.5x the BB your ISO raise here could be 3.5x or you can size it slightly bigger if you have a good hand and your table is a bunch of stationy fishfaces.

It depends on player reads for sure….shove is a great play with a limper but that is if you are confident they are not doing this limp with AA or KK. I am really cautious when it is UTG limper…not so much with MP limpers.
