Ultimate Poker NJ 20k. No Hand histories or HUDs allowed. Just moved to this table an orbit before but I did see UTG villain triple up when he cold 4 bet shoved (with not a lot of fold equity) over an open and 3 bet shove with 44.

50 left . 36 get paid.

Blinds 2k/4k/400 We are in the BB

UTG has 200kish
I have 180kish (top 10-12 stack, I dont quite remember)
SB has 40k

Dealt QQ

UTG limps 4k
SB Shoves 40k total
BB (Hero) ????

Not quite sure how to proceed .

I think I'd just call and given stack sizes if UTG limp-shoves on you, you could fold QQ. Online I think I would never fold here but live, maybe. Depends on the image you have of the UTG-boy.

If he just calls and the flop looks dry (no K, no A) I think I'd get it in here. If he called you with KK or AA: GG. If he called with anything else that beats you on flop (set, 2pair, straight, flush): don't worry too much, the UTG-limper is a fish which will pay you in the long run.

This isn't a weirdish spot, it's a great spot. I think it's close between call and reshove – I might be more inclined to reshove, just because I feel like the UTG guy is going to overcall way more than he should, which would be great when we have AA or KK, but with QQ it's just going to lead to a few more weird flop spots on K high or A high boards.

I don't think there are any circumstances or player types that could get me to fold here for 45bb. The money bubble is important, but it's not that important. I'm not folding to a limp-shove or anything else – there's no such thing as a scary limp and I'm just not worried about UTG having AA or KK very often given what we know about him. Even if he does have it sometimes, it's still a spot where if he open-raised we'd be 3bet/5betting to get it in, so the fact he limped isn't really telling us he has a strong range – quite the opposite. He has a weak range and we should be delighted to get it in here.
