perky264 is a tight player but since he lost a big pot, he play kinda aggressive with his short stack

Dabble is 13/8 on 30 hand. no special read except that he limps/call one hand.

So what the good play preflop and what is the plan postflop if we call preflop ?

I might actually fold this pre as we are going to hate a ton of flops.  That being said, we called and we called for a flop like this i think?

Check raise could be sexy…plus if we get bet jam after we check we could consider giving it up.

A 13/8 guy cold calling a 3 bet should have a really strong and narrow range here. I fold pre-flop.

I also think we give away a lot of info on our hand here with the line we take. It looks so much like 99-JJ and AQs. Stronger pairs 4 bet and weaker ones should fold. AK 4 bets, too.

agree with you… the only thing is that the short stack was playing like 40/35 in the last 10 hand, so is it enough to make a call or raise more profitable then a fold ?

I agree with Killingbird and would probably fold pre.  No need to take marginal spots early in tournaments.  Remember you raised UTG, so the action happened after you showed a lot of strength.  Also agree with what killingbird said on the flop.  Checkraise is good because if they both get it in before you it's an easy fold.

def. flat pre your just to deep to fold. check raise the flop and fold to a 4 bet pretty standard at this point imo

So we check raise less than all-in and then fold to a shove? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me considering it makes us lose half our stack.

If the c-bet size is 900-1200 a check-raise has to be all-in, no? If he bets 1000 would you raise to like 2500 and then fold?
