Villain has been pretty passive so far, calling raises pre and limping in etc.

Curious to know as to what you guys do here…

Not sure if its right but I fold to that ridic cbet in this spot. He is not folding if you raise and if you call and wiff the turn it is a waste of a lot of bb's then you would have to fold. Middle pair with open ended and back door is not enough here.

I play this differently.  I think this guy is saying,  “I don't love my hand and I'm scared if we continue this pot I won't win it.”  I think he feels vulnerable.  You started the hand with ~59bbs, and calling the cbet will put your stack at ~46bbs, which won't cripple you by calling the cbet.

This early in the tournament I would peel another one.  If you miss and he shoves, you can get out of the pot…but I think a decent enough % of the time he checks behind or bets very small on the turn (remember, I'm thinking he feels vulnerable on the flop and may not love his hand).

I'll take this spot to try to chip up a little early on and you both being deep stacked.
