First level of $250 live tournament in Vegas.
Blinds 50/100 starting stack 15000
Utg1 older lady limps. utg2 limpa i raise mp1 450 AQo almost everyone calls. Only button and bb fold

Flop (3150) A52r check to me. I bet 1800 only SB and first limper call.

Turn (7550) Js checks through.

River 2 sb tanks and leads 6300. Limper tanks and folds. Hero folds.

Q – Was river a good fold? What’s the weakest hand you call with?

Any sense checking the turn? It seemed at the time it would be hard to get three streets of value from worse and didn’t like either option if i get check raised.

I think your starting stack is off or blinds. Anways. . . . Pre could be a lil bigger after 2 limps but no big deal, flop is standard, as played you gotta snap, I feel you only lose to AJ and maybeeee AK. Most people would check raise that flop with sets, river is a great card for you, I would snap the river as played.

If your stack size is correct this is an easy call…but i dont suspect it is. if its a typo let me know what the correct numbers are and such.

I’d fold whether I had 15K or 150K to start, don’t see why that would affect things one way or the other. I doubt V is value betting worse, and what could he be bluffing with?

Oh and turn check is good for the same reason you’re folding river. Your hand really isn’t very strong to want to put another bet into the pot at this point, unless everyone else’s ranges get weaker as well (ie they check to you again on the river, then I’d value bet).
